In this course, you will create your own professional journalism portfolio – one that will make you stand out and let your work speak for itself. You’ll work on a multi-platform story from start to finish, learning crucial skills along the way like how to write and record powerful and brilliant examples of your ability. You’ll also learn how to market yourself as a journalist and what employers are looking for. 

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to: 

  • Quickly build a journalism portfolio, even if you’ve never worked in a newsroom 
  • Demonstrate a variety of writing and reporting skills 
  • Present your portfolio online using free tools 
  • Pitch your stories for publication 
  • Become a professional with a body of credible work
